Toxic Textile Dye Effluent Streams – Remove Pollutants with Advanced Electro Coagulation and Oxidation Systems

Textile effluent is a cause of significant amount of environmental degradation and human illnesses. Textile wastewater contains typically a much higher amount of the dye content: 10 -200 mg/liter, which gives intense coloration. About 40 percent of globally used colorants contain organically bound chlorine a known carcinogen.

Textile industry, are water extensive with the main environmental concern being the amount of water discharged and the chemical load it carries.

Wastewater effluent from Textile Dyeing facilities bear a high degree of pollution load, causes damage to the environment and human health including suspended and dissolved solids, biological oxygen demand (BOD), chemical oxygen demand (COD), chemicals, contain trace metals like Cr, As, Cu and Zn and color

Textile Dyeing effluents vary in their characteristics and depend on the textile manufactured and chemicals used and carries metals, salt, surfactants, organic processing, assistants, cationic materials, color, BOD, COD, sulphide, acidity/alkalinity, spent solvents etc.

Understanding these challenges in Textile wastewater streams, we at RT ECO have come up with a unique Advanced Hybrid electrochemical based Effluent treatment system without using any chemicals or microbes.

RT ECO, Advanced Hybrid, Wastewater Treatment technology, has made it considerably easier, for Textile and Textile Dyeing industries to reuse water and also meet the consequent stringency in environmental legislation.

RT ECO, advanced wastewater treatment systems uses smaller footprint and requires 90 to 95% less space than conventional plants. Reduces labor requirements and can be automated easily.

Electro-Coagulation Systems are supplied as a skid mounted unit, fully assembled for inlet/outlet and backwash connections.
